7. Senior Business Analyst – MINING• Degree in Engineering (Mining Engineering degree are preferred, but not essential) from a recognised local or overseas university. Overseas MBA or equivalent Master Degree would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years business analyst or related work experience, preferably within mining industry.
• Accountable for special projects.
Responsibilities:
• Mining Market analysis (e.g. size, growth, threats, competitors, external threats, cost drivers, innovation, strategy): Develop clear/accurate and up-to-date reports on the mining industry the Company operates in. Reports to identify all Key indicators that could impact out business key indicators.
• Benchmarking: Develop benchmarking of the Company performance against peers and competitors within mining industry.
• Business improvement: Assist Mining business line GM - implement identified business improvement initiatives.
• Investment assessment and modelling: Develop detailed financial models, including sensitivity analysis on potential mining investments and Assist with acquisition reviews, due diligence on M&A opportunities.
